Meet your Assessor

The Township Assessor’s primary responsibility is to determine the market value of every property in the Township, and to do so fairly, equitably and uniformly.
Our office should be your first stop if you have a question about your assessment or an exemption. Most of the information you need to understand your assessment is on this website.
We are happy to review your assessment with you. Contact our office with any questions or concerns you might have. We look forward to serving you!

2026 Assessment Year
The 2026 County Equalization Factor for all property assessments is 1.0793 (that is, + 7.93%).
DuPage County will publish only those Bloomingdale Township 2026 assessments which have changed for any reason other than the +7.93% County Equalization Factor, and the County will also mail a Change of Assessment Notice to those properties' owners. This publication will be in the Addison Suburban Life and the Carol Stream Suburban Life newspapers. Publication and the mailing of Change of Assessment Notices will both take place on September 25, 2026.
The September 25, 2026 Publication date also commences the 2026 Assessment Appeal filing period with the DuPage County Board of Review (BOR). The deadline to file a 2026 Assessment Appeal with the DuPage County Board of Review (BOR) is
October 26, 2026.
You appeal your property's assessment (assessed value), NOT your property tax bill.
Your assessment appeal asks the Board of Review to change the value placed on your property. It is not a challenge to your tax bill or your tax rate.
Published in the Addison and Carol Stream Suburban Life newspapers.
The day after publication. Appeals must be filed with the DuPage County Board of Review.
Thirty days from publication. The DuPage County Board of Review cannot accept a late filing.
You will be notified by the DuPage County Board of Review about your hearing date.
Also known as the "Quadrennial." Takes place every four years. The previous General Reassessment Year was 2023.
